Jill Stuart Fall Makeup - Reviews & Swatches

Follow up from my previous post Jill Stuart Blush Blossom Fall 2010, I promised to include you the swatches for the Fall/ winter Jill stuart makeup items I recieved recently. I have added some makeup swatches and some reviews of the products.  I was a little surprised with one of the lip gloss, I thought the color would show up a lot more like a milkier pink tone, you will see further pictures after the jump.

Jill Stuart Blush Blossom Makeup

Jill Stuart Blush Blossom cheek color - A bit messy to use as the loose powder spill around the compact a bit. A dual color loose powder. I think these are cool toned as opoose to previous release being more warmer tone for the spring/ summer releases. Its a fairly long lasting finish on the cheeks, the second shade are a darker tone and really give cheeks a pop of color.

Jill Stuart Blush Blossom Makeup Brush

Dipped in Sweet Pea. I love the portable brushes. The goat hair really help to pick up the pigments and blend evenly on to the skin. These are no longer attatched to the compacts like the mix blushes and I could keep this in my handbag for other touch ups too. I just love them =)

Jill Stuart Blush Blossom Sweet Pea Makeup

Blush Blossom Makeup Swatch: These are more pigmented than the Mix blush compacts.  They have a slight pearlescent finish with a really pretty subtle glow, however, I think the eyeshadows have more shimmer than the cheek powders.

Jill Stuart Jewel Crystal eyeshadow Swatch

Jill Stuart Jewel Crystal eyes - Romantic Onyx swatch. Called the Innocent & Smokey eye makeup. The colors has really pretty shimmers and are little more pigmented than the previous eyeshadows I have tried. The charcoal/ black are more matt than the rest of the colors which I like and I think the black could be piled on depending on own preference of color intensity of smokey eye look. They are extremely sparkling under lighting with a multi tonal shine!

JillStuart Lip Luster Lip gloss Virgin Kiss

Lip Luster 28 Virgin Kiss lip gloss - The shade of this are only sheer, I have pigmented lips and although it looks super glossy, this color did nothing for me. Look like a clear lip gloss on top of my own  natural lip color. It looks really pretty in the tube though.

 Jill Stuart LipLuster Lip Gloss

Lip Swatch - See through clear gloss finish.

Jill Stuart Lip Swatch

29 Fairy Coral - Pretty glistening coral. Looks more lighter than my actual lip color. I 've applied a couple of layers, the coverage in this are just like the Rmk Gloss lips. Pictures are taken during daylight.

Jill Stuart Lip Gloss Swatch

Lip swatch - Color appear lighter on lips than in actual tube.

I think I will get more of the cheek colors, maybe in 04 and some of the eye gloss to try. I have enjoyed using these products and I think they are a very pretty collection to try. If you have any further questions about Jill Stuart. Please feel free to contact me  =)

With Love
Lisa

Oh Lisa,

The eyeshadow and blush blossom are indeed more pigmented than the previous one. Now, I'm so lemming for the blusher. But I do not like the idea of being messy. Scare it will mess up if I put in my handbag.
Oh, btw what do you want to tell me about Hada Labo? Hehe XD

Lisssaaa!!! I can't believe you got these already! I was just wondering when they'd be released, I thought they wouldn't be out for another few weeks LOL I'm really intrigued by the blushers too. They look so cute and the cuteness has obviously been ramped up even more for this range. Hmmmmmm I can't even decide on what colour to get! Your less than stellar review on the lipgloss is making my stay away though hehe Thanks for sharing this review with us^^
