Paul & Joe under eye concealer designed to target dark eye circles. Iam almost near to the end of finishing my Bobbi Brown tinted eye brigthener and Bobbi brown concealer in Natural. This is my first Paul & Joe cosmetics base product. I have never worn anything such as the foundation or powder from their range and have only been using their color makeup so this is something new for me.
Shade Nougat 02, a light/medium yellow based concealer, they come in three shades and 10ml in a plastic tube, 03 are more pink based. When I first opened the cute packaging, the tube looked ok and full in size, when I unscrewed the cap and squeezed a tiny amount of the product out, the tube had looked deflated alot, air had been trapped inside causing the illusion of a more fuller product.
This has a subtle floral scent and I have noticed the smell straight away after I have applied it on to my face. The texture is not too thick, I would say its between a lotion consistency but I was a little surprised with the coverage afterwards because it did a great job with covering my dark circles under my eyes, very buildable but the only downside of this item would be the shade being abit more darker than I would have liked. I have included a swatch for BB concealer and Nougat shade for you.

Overal, I think its a great concealer. The concealer lasts a very long time and I didin't felt the need to top up during the day. I simply used face powder to set it and it looked perfectly done. I am fairly tempted to try their foundation range now ^^
* Some of you have contacted me for swatches of the Jill stuart blush from my recent post. I have been taking so many attampts to show the true colors of the cheek color but they are very sheer and somehow my camera wasn't able to capture those colors properly. I am wearing it in these photos but I must say that it shows up more in real life than in pictures.*
With Love
Lisa

great review ~ it's so interesting how the concealer has a scent. xo lots of love faye
Thanks for reviewing this, the packaging is just so pretty isnt it? :))
I wonder how is this compare to MAC?
I love the yellow-based. :))
I've heard good reviews about P&J concealer! Too bad it's too dark for you but it doesn't really show after it's blended :)
Lisa - the concealer looks really great! =) I have the Fluid foundation and it's very sheer for me. I'm surprised P&J can manage to concoct a pigmented concealer hahaha - Trace
@ Slowbrogal,
I am not too sure with the Mac color concealer comparison, however, I do use the Mac studio sculpt foundation in shade NC-25, for color wise, I would say the Paul & Joe color tone are more darker tone and more yellow based.
I also use the Shu uemura concealer in 5yr and the paul & Joe concealer are darker in tone and have more yellow tone to them.
I hope this helps and many thanks for stopping by again =)
@Dina(XYYAN),
The concealer does look a tiny bit darker than I would have liked but after I patted on loose powder (Translucent) on top, it evens out the color and really blends the color in evenly.
Thank you for stopping by again. Have a great day =)
thanks for reviewing this concealer I was really interested in it before but I read that is wasnt full cover but looks really thick and covers nicely :D but the tube looks so tiny lol
looks really yellow ocher tone which looks great for asian skin tone :)
Looking beautiful as always<3
I would think this a little too dark and yellow for me, but I think it suits you pretty well. Thanks for the review!^0^
This is a great review Lisa!! I think it really conceals the under eye well based on your pictures. I wanna give this a try! =) Looking great btw.
Happy days ahead! xoxo
Oh, I love that this is yellow-based! Thanks :D
thanks for the review! It looked very yellow before the blending but it looks so natural on the skin afterwards. :) thanks for the pictures, they were very sharp, great review! ^^
