Mac studio sculpt foundation is a gel based hydrating foundation with a spf 15. It provides a medium coverage with a semi matt finish. It provides a soft natural look to the face and not looking caked in foundation.
I personally prefer a gel based foundation as I find it to be more suitable for my dry/sensitive skin type, however, I do think that it could be suitable for all skin types. A small pea size is all I need to cover my whole face and the foundation doesn't seem to irritate my skin or cause any bad reactions. Definitely one of my favourite's. It is also water resisitant and long wearing.

I love my MAC studio sculpt foundation. I usually mix that 50/50 with Legere multi white BB cream :)
